Heritage Pig Health

Heritage Pig Health

Promoting good health in the pig herd begins with providing appropriate housing, feed, water and activity.  Take the time to observe each animal at least once a day, and learn to identify normal behavior so that a pig that is injured or sick will be immediately obvious.  Good health benefits the pigs, the farmer and long term conservation of the breed.
